Geshem: Hebrew for “Rain.” Geshem City is a space dedicated to all things Seattle…with a Jewish spin, and to all things Jewish…with a Seattle spin.
Think of us as your Seattle Yenta with a great sense of humor and a touch of ADD.
This page was originally created as a blog post for all things Jewish in Seattle but now serves as a portal for new families wishing to join our extended Jewish family in the Pacific Northwest. Feel free to contact us with any questions or to arrange a visit to Seattle!

Ari is a native from Westchester, New York and his primary job is as an awesome and trustworthy contractor and property manager with his companies, Hoffman Homes and Lion Logistics Ari is also the owner of Amusements On Demand, a party rental company. So if you need a real house or a bounce house, he is your guy. Ari also spends his free time volunteering as the Youth Director for Congregation BCMH and Program Director for Camp Yavneh as well as the neighborhood baseball coach. But his most awesome trait is his willingness to take his kids somewhere new and exciting every Sunday(when there isn’t baseball).
